You guys owe me so badly

I spent 300 dollars (of birthday money and savings) to get OCW back up. You know, the birthday all of you guys forgot  Well, at least OCW is up again, and we'll be doing stuffs to earn money soon like offering hosting to you guys for personal stuff.

Welcome back.

Heya everyone.
I thought I should make a little news post. I have two things to say.

1.) I'm sorry for my recent away-ness. It's been a mix of my laptop being broken and school being hectic, I don't know when I'll be able to come back for "good".

2.) And this is a doozie. OCW will be going down soon. I forgot all about the server payments, and I don't have the funding for it. Unless, by some miraculous stroke of luck I get the money, OCW will be down until further notice. Normally the server charges will cost around 210 bucks, but this month it will cost more around 240 because of late charges. Yeah.

I don't know if you guys have money, but if you want OCW to live another day, please donate.

Thanks.

EDIT: I think I can scrape up 50 bucks.

The staff [Ace] is in development of the new Play Now. However, it's not completely done yet. There are still some errors, and the button itself is not public. You can tell it's not done yet by trying to post something and you get a strange SQL error.

Given I'm an artistic dunce and can't make a new Info banner, and it's too late to remove it because the damage is done, I ask that no one post any Play Now bugs until you can actually see the Play Now button.

Thanks.

One of the best ways to share your friend code information across the web is with our easy Wi-Fi Cards. These allow you to take a bit of the site and put it anywhere on the web that allows HTML - so people can see your skill, trust, points and all of your games. They can also be seen on profiles here on the site!

See? Nice and easy.

And as it's about you, we let you choose a theme for your card: and 5 more of those have been added! The Black style's been proving popular, so today's update of styles is a bit on the dark side... we've got a Resident Evil 4 one, an Umbrella Corporation one, another depicts a fight from Twilight Princess, show a love for music with the Rock Band style, or take to the skies with a Metroid Prime 3 theme.

To change your theme, go to Account, and click Edit Wi-Fi Card.

Heya everyone, just thought I'd keep you all up to date on what we're doing and perhaps, if by the end of this post I'm in a good mood, what we plan to be doing soon!

- You can now Challenge people and attach a message. This is both convenient and useful for you, so you could say, tell someone you want to play in 10 minutes, or what your course preference is. Stuff like that.

- Comments on News and Blogs have been improved. I increased their text size and added everyone's avatar next to the comments for legibility. Well, the avatar is more for color, but you get my point.

- News and Blog RSS now works on all browsers and not just FireFox.

- A fair few bug fixes.

- Ace Jon added a challenge link under everyone's avatars in profiles, so now it's even easier to do that. As you can tell, we want it to be as easy as possible for you guys to challenge one another. Remember, we have an awesome leaderboard.

Well, I hope these changes are to your liking, and you should look out for some Games page related updates! We hope you guys continue to contribute. The Super Smash Bros. brawl page is a good example of how we hope to make all major game pages look.

Well, a lot of you complained about the lack of Activity on the homepage, well, we heard you and I just put that up now. Along with it comes a new News box, so that has a bit more connection to the site now!

Today, we fixed plenty of bugs, and tomorrow we'll fix even more. Just because the site is up, doesn't mean we're going to stop giving you features, in fact, I just finished putting together a new To-Do list for the staff. We are busy, trust me

The site launch went extremely well, and our code updates have proven to be very good, seeing as the site never once stopped completely like it did during the OCW1 launch with just as many people. Remember, we're always listening to you!

It's been a long 5 months, and we have finally pushed this puppy out of the door! Our team has worked incredibly hard to get to where we are right now, and it's amazing that we were able to be done on time. OCW2 has so many new features, we suggest you just go through the site yourself and play around, we hope you have a great time like we do!

In the next few months we'll be optimizing the site with any bugs/flaws you guys find, and most likely adding a few features we didn't fit in for launch, or that you guys suggest. The race has only just begun for OCW!
