The staff [Ace] is in development of the new Play Now. However, it's not completely done yet. There are still some errors, and the button itself is not public. You can tell it's not done yet by trying to post something and you get a strange SQL error.
Given I'm an artistic dunce and can't make a new Info banner, and it's too late to remove it because the damage is done, I ask that no one post any Play Now bugs until you can actually see the Play Now button.
Since no one really seems to care at all about this, I posted that now the Play Now chat is usable. Although probably not complete to Ace's specifications, you can now post a chat on it.
To Ace, you did the REPLACE INTO wrong, it's supposed to look like an INSERT, not a SELECT.
It's little more than an IRC [Ajax, not IRC, so it works on non IRC compatible] with the ability to click a user's name and see friendcodes, and challenge people from there. Maybe the completed version was going to have more stuff [I asked Ace to look at Shoddy and see if there's anything like the Find he could take], but...the info thing was updated before it was finished.
There was a bug where people couldn't post, I fixed that. Now I'm trying to get rid of the refresh when you click someone's name. I think I have an idea.
Ah. That makes sense. Though there's the question of if people will even use it. Dunno if they would use Play Now, or just be more inclined to go on IRC and look up Friend codes and challenge manually.
Well, getting the friend code would be easier on Play Now. But IRC has more people so it might get more attention. Although, a mysterious "crash" might fix that.
I fixed the users thing. At the same time, the bug where the page would scroll to the top [problem on Wii Browser] was fixed at the same time. Downside, there is no hand when you hover. Try clicking the users now.
