I get the idea. Logically, how many people would give a child a gun? Now how many that wouldn't would try to get games? It's something more easily accessible in a generalization I think, so they want to make it more severe to bring their point across.

By that logic petty theft deserves a higher punishment then murder because it is much more common and easier to do.

You don't necessarily have to be communist to ban videogames. But it makes it so when they do it isn't really a surprise.

Communist Countries, especially Latin American ones, do stupid stuff.
