Fat people are ruining America. They try to change laws to make their lives easier, making ours worse as a result. In the law, they try to make obesity a disease and as such, they should not be discriminated against. How is this so? They weren't born obese! They aren't black or retarded! This is their own fault and should be treated as such. Why should we accomodate for them? Instead, we should round them up and put them into concentrated fat camps.

Actually if someone's parents were obese than the child's genes would be made larger or something and could be seen as obese. So they can be born obese.

But this is really rare and most of time its there fault.

Even if you were born obese, it's not like you can't become thin by, I dunno, doing something to counteract it.

That's just your metabolism. Someone "naturally fat" can still stay average, they just have to work at it more then someone such as me with my XTREME metabolism of POWER.

Yeah that was soughta the point I was trying to make, just didn't explain it enough.

Dreamer said on January 18th, 2010 8:43 pm   #
thats not really accurate, sometimes its not their fault take this for an example: my friend sylvia is obese but she also has epilepsy and other medical problems so its not really all her fault she was born this way

Inferno said on January 18th, 2010 8:48 pm   #
Epilepsy doesn't make you fat. You can exercise and not be fat anymore. You're just making excuses. Shut up and lose weight and join the rest of society.

keyword is other medical problems i think she also has diabetes and other stuff but i don't know anything about her medical history all i know is that she has epilepsy

ArmsAreLoud said on January 18th, 2010 8:55 pm   #
If she is diabetic, isn't it even MORE important for her to eat healthier?

Excellent point.

Preventable means you can do something about it.

Watch in amazement as Dreamer states that Wikipedia can't be trusted as a viable source.

Dreamer. I will delete this blog and retract my statement about fat people if you post a three minute video on youtube of you doing jumping jacks.

Just wanted to note that Wikipedia requires you to cite viable sources, which that sentence quoted above has a valid citation.

Wikipedia isn't a primary resource; it's a place to gather the important aspects of an object. Think of Wikipedia as Google when doing research. Wikipedia is a perfectly valid source as long as the citations are correct and trustworthy.

Wikipedia is a source to find primary sources. :P
